Anime review: Tales of Symphonia The Animation: Sylvarant-hen

Today in the Anime review we will be talking about Tales of Symphonia the animation.

Name: Tales of Symphonia the animation: Sylvarant-hen
Episodes: 4

There are two worlds, knowing nothing of each other. In order for one world to flourish the other one will perish. In the perished world a chosen must go on a journey. The journey of world generation. The chosen has to overcome many obstacles and ends up at the tower of salvation. Once the chosen becomes an angel, which brings many hardships with it along the way, the flow will be changed and the once perished world will be flourished. Colette brunel is in this story the chosen of regeneration, as it’s called. She’s from Sylvarant, the name of the perishing world. She will have to travel around different places together with her company, Teacher Raine Sage, classmates Genis Sage & Lloyd Irving, and at last, as a guard, Kratos. Together they have to beat monsters and protect Colette from dangers and clumsy assassins..

The beautiful but a little naive chosen of Sylvarant, Colette Brunel.

This is basically the story of the game in short. The animation is nicely made and the main parts of the game are being shown. This is kind of like an intro to the game. If you want to know the details you must play! (I will review the game later on once I’m done playing it ;) ). The story is quit catchy and interesting. It’s only 4 episodes so you will be done with it pretty quick, however there is a “season two” which is the continuation of this story. I will review this one later on.

Grade: 7 – It’s a nice story and really good to watch, however, it does tell the main parts of the game, which is kinda sad as well because it will spoil the game a little bit! But if you’re a Tales of Symphonia fan or just don’t wanna play the game, but are interested, I’d say; Go for it!
