Facialmask Review: Facial – Wine Sheet Mask (Non-Korean)

These days you get more products here from Asia, like sheet masks. So I was wondering it was as good as a Korean sheet mask.
South-Korea is famous for it’s skincare and I wanted to test this but how? Well, I have found two wine inspired sheet masks and today we are going to test if the Korean sheet masks are still better or is it worth to try to experiment with other ones?

This mask helps for premature skin aging and it contains wine extract. I can’t get more info because I bought it in a store and you can’t get it online.

When I opened the package I immediately could recognize the smell: artificial grape. It wasn’t at all intense but if you have eaten Japanese of Korean grape candy then you know what I mean. This was quite pleasant...

Facialmask Review: Skinfood Green Tea Sheet Mask

Green Tea Sheet Mask Skinfood

This mask is for sensitive, normal and dry skin. It contains green tea extract that helps to soothe the skin and provides cool moisture. The Green Tea extract hydrates and brightens. The sheet mask is made of  100% pure cotton sheet face mask

The Mask

The Mask

When I opened the package, there wasn’t a lot of essence in there which is not so bad. The sheet has a lot of essence in it, but not enough in the package itself to put on a cotton pad, so it felt like I was throwing my money away. I think if you squeeze out the essence before you are going to use it in the package with some cotton pad, then the price is totally worth it.

The smell has a herbal scent to it and not green tea. As a green tea lover, I was a bit disappointed...

Facialmask Review: Anskin Green Tea Rubber Mask

This mask is for Sensitive skin, Skin trouble, Dark and Droopy Skin and Dry skin. This mask contains a lot of good ingredients; like green tea extracts inhibit skin oxidation that keeps your skin youthful, clear and helps maintain the health of the skin because of its rich ingredients such as vitamin E. The ingredient called Catechin contained in green tea prevents skin oxidation and suppresses the black mark generated from UV rays. The vitamin C ingredient in green tea helps to improve the skin to brighten up.This mask is a rubber mask that you have to make by yourself. You get about 7,5 grams of the powder and mix it with water until you have the right consistency that you are happy with. I always use a little bit more of it, so I can put a thick layer on my face...

Noblesse Korean Animation VS Anime

In the post before, we talked about one of my favorite manwha: Noblesse. What makes this manwha even more special, is that there is a Korean Animation (OVA) and a 30-minute short anime of it. I saw them both and here is my review about it.

Korean Animation

Rai in the Korean OVA

In my opinion, I think that the Korean OVA could be much better in many ways. I really like the story. It tells you more about the relationship between Rai and Muzuka and why they are enemies now. The animation looks pretty old if you compare it with the anime, but that isn’t the bad part. I really don’t like the voice actors that they used. This made the whole story quite boring for me...

Noblesse manwha

Well some of you know that I’m a big manga and manwha fan. So I wanted to talk about (what I think) the most known manwha and it’s one of my favorites as well.

I started to read this in the summer of 2014 when they were just published in English. The manwha is written by Son Jeho and illustrated by Lee Kwangsu and was started on December 30 in 2007 as a webtoon/manwha. This manwha is published on Naver and is still on going.

Noblesse

Noblesse is about a powerful noble vampire. Cadis Etrama Di Raizal (aka Rai because we all know that his name is too long to pronounce it everytime) , the nobblesse wakes up from a 820-year long sleep and starts a new life  in the land which he once knew, that had become an unfamilair place with new technology, attitudes, and lifestyles...

My exam songs

It has been a while since I posted something. Well, that’s because I have been working for school a lot and had my exams.
I listened to a lot of kpop radio during my exams ( yes, we were allowed to listen to music) and I came across a lot of groups that I was not interested in before, but now.. Well let’s say that I’m hooked.

Let’s begin tot alk about the songs that I listened to during my last school period

f(x) – 4 Walls album

f(X) – 4 Walls

I like f(x) but I am not a fan. I just like their songs. Since I heard the album of pink tape, I was more interested in their album than the song ‘Rum Pum Pum’. So when 4 walls came out, I was totally hooked on their album. Until today I really love the songs ‘Rude Love’ and ‘When I’m Alone’ that I totally recommend you to listen!

IKON –  Dum...

Charlotte’s review: Geek in Japan

As we know, Japan isn’t all about manga and anime. But most of us don’t know or just don’t want to know more about the culture of Japan. But, if you want to learn more, Geek in Japan is a good book. It talks about a anime culture, work culture, food and a lot more. It isn’t a guidebook that you could take with you in Japan, but more of a culture guide book for us otaku’s. It’s written for the people who grew up with Pokemon, manga and videogames, better to say, us internet users who wants to learn more about the culture and hopefully travel there one day.

Charlotte’s Review: Kaomoji (◕‿◕)

I thought: I haven’t done a review in a very long time. so here it is!

Today we are going to talk about the online clothes store kaomoji!

Kaomoji

Kaomoji is run by two Dutch graphic designers who love Japanese culture, anime , manga and, ofcourse, fashion! The name kaomoji means japanese smileys. They chose this name, because fashion makes them happy, sad, loved, lazy and crazy.
They express themselves in the way they dress. It all started with designing t-shirts for themselves. They are inspired by watching anime, reading manga and loving Japan. They started to put their designs on the internet and got a lot of positive reactions on it, so they started a shop! From a hobby they turned it into an otaku fashion statement.

In 2015 I ordered the limited edition world hoodie...
