Facialmask Review: Skinfood Green Tea Sheet Mask

Green Tea Sheet Mask Skinfood

This mask is for sensitive, normal and dry skin. It contains green tea extract that helps to soothe the skin and provides cool moisture. The Green Tea extract hydrates and brightens. The sheet mask is made of  100% pure cotton sheet face mask

The Mask

The Mask

When I opened the package, there wasn’t a lot of essence in there which is not so bad. The sheet has a lot of essence in it, but not enough in the package itself to put on a cotton pad, so it felt like I was throwing my money away. I think if you squeeze out the essence before you are going to use it in the package with some cotton pad, then the price is totally worth it.

The smell has a herbal scent to it and not green tea. As a green tea lover, I was a bit disappointed...

Facialmask Review: Anskin Green Tea Rubber Mask

This mask is for Sensitive skin, Skin trouble, Dark and Droopy Skin and Dry skin. This mask contains a lot of good ingredients; like green tea extracts inhibit skin oxidation that keeps your skin youthful, clear and helps maintain the health of the skin because of its rich ingredients such as vitamin E. The ingredient called Catechin contained in green tea prevents skin oxidation and suppresses the black mark generated from UV rays. The vitamin C ingredient in green tea helps to improve the skin to brighten up.This mask is a rubber mask that you have to make by yourself. You get about 7,5 grams of the powder and mix it with water until you have the right consistency that you are happy with. I always use a little bit more of it, so I can put a thick layer on my face...

Korean New Year

Korean celebrate two New Year’s Days. One at the start of the year on the Lunar calendar (Sonal) and the New Years day we know, which start on the first day of the solar calender (January 1st). But the Lunar New Year is one of the most important Korean holiday on the calendar.

New year’s days are family holidays. The Solar New Year’s Day is more traditionally celebrated with friends. The Lunar New Years day is a three-day event. Most people try to return to their family homes to spend time with and to honor ancestors. If family members are not all gathering in one place, then it also customary for the younger generations to visit older uncles, aunts, and relatives that live close enough and give well wishes for the New Year...

Noblesse Korean Animation VS Anime

In the post before, we talked about one of my favorite manwha: Noblesse. What makes this manwha even more special, is that there is a Korean Animation (OVA) and a 30-minute short anime of it. I saw them both and here is my review about it.

Korean Animation

Rai in the Korean OVA

In my opinion, I think that the Korean OVA could be much better in many ways. I really like the story. It tells you more about the relationship between Rai and Muzuka and why they are enemies now. The animation looks pretty old if you compare it with the anime, but that isn’t the bad part. I really don’t like the voice actors that they used. This made the whole story quite boring for me...

Noblesse manwha

Well some of you know that I’m a big manga and manwha fan. So I wanted to talk about (what I think) the most known manwha and it’s one of my favorites as well.

I started to read this in the summer of 2014 when they were just published in English. The manwha is written by Son Jeho and illustrated by Lee Kwangsu and was started on December 30 in 2007 as a webtoon/manwha. This manwha is published on Naver and is still on going.

Noblesse

Noblesse is about a powerful noble vampire. Cadis Etrama Di Raizal (aka Rai because we all know that his name is too long to pronounce it everytime) , the nobblesse wakes up from a 820-year long sleep and starts a new life  in the land which he once knew, that had become an unfamilair place with new technology, attitudes, and lifestyles...

My exam songs

It has been a while since I posted something. Well, that’s because I have been working for school a lot and had my exams.
I listened to a lot of kpop radio during my exams ( yes, we were allowed to listen to music) and I came across a lot of groups that I was not interested in before, but now.. Well let’s say that I’m hooked.

Let’s begin tot alk about the songs that I listened to during my last school period

f(x) – 4 Walls album

f(X) – 4 Walls

I like f(x) but I am not a fan. I just like their songs. Since I heard the album of pink tape, I was more interested in their album than the song ‘Rum Pum Pum’. So when 4 walls came out, I was totally hooked on their album. Until today I really love the songs ‘Rude Love’ and ‘When I’m Alone’ that I totally recommend you to listen!

IKON –  Dum...

Pocky and Pepero

Valentine’s day is over and you’ve got some pocky from your loved ones ( or you bought it for yourself). You look at it and think: ‘Where is it even coming from? And what is the difference between Pepero and Pocky?’

Pocky new package
‘Sukky’ comes from ‘suki’ which means love and pocky.  But for us forneigers, it’s quite funny.

And what is the history of pocky? And pepero?

Well if you keep reading you will know!

The orginal chocolate covered biscuit was first sold in 1966. The name ‘Pocky’ comes from the sound that you make when you eat it, which is pokkin. In 1976 the original was followed by the (all mighty) almond coating, and in 1977 the strawberry coating came out. Nowadays you have all sorts of flavors like milk, mouse, matcha (green tea), honey, cookies and cream, and many more flavors...

14 days’s in South Korea

The 14th of every month is a holiday in South Korea. This is quite ironic, as it is a number to be feared in Asia; the word for four is the same as the word for death. Most of these days are for couples to celebrate their love. We made a list for you!

February2013 443

January 14th: Diary Day / Candle Day

Blank diaries are given as gifts among couples and friends. Anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions are recorded into the brand new journals. Most of these diaries have funny Konglish text on them. Also, some celebrate  Candle Day and give and receive decorative candles.

 February 14th: Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is celebrated in South Korea much like it is in the West, except for one main difference: Only the women give gifts; men are off the hook in February.

Product Review: Lioele Pore Clean & Tightening pack

Hello again and welcome to the end of this series. If you missed the Massage gel and the Blackhead Clear, go check that out first~

The packaging

The packaging is also like the first two but colors a switched. I personally think it’s very smart becauseit is a sort of series of products to use and it is also good to use as a single product. You don’t have to use the other two product to use this. Also the illustration is another place than the nose so you can use it on your whole face. Like the other products, it has an English description on it. If you are a foreign user like me you can know how to use it without looking on the internet. Also the pot has a really cute detail which makes it more fun to use. The product also has a spoon to apply the mask without using your fingers.
